How it works

1. Discovery

Are we a good fit? This is where we discuss the project, your goals, needs, ideas and business requirements. I may ask for other information that will help me understand the project better. If I think I can deliver the project, I will prepare a custom proposal for you. From your end, this is an opportunity to ask me about my expertise, process, experience, and anything else that you feel is relevant for us to have a successful working relationship.

2. Proposal

I will put together a project proposal based on what we discussed. Included in the proposal are the service inclusions, timelines, and quotations. I also include the service agreement, which you can sign and send back to me should you decide to move forward with the project. After you sign the contract, I will send the invoice for the initial deposit. I can accept payments through bank transfer, TransferWise, or PayPal.

3. Partnership

We kick off the project with the onboarding where I gather all materials (photos, content) and access to platforms that I need to complete the project. Once we have all that sorted, you can step away while I do the heavy lifting. I understand some materials may not be available at the start of the project, especially if we are starting from scratch, so some materials may be provided slowly and in stages. It’s important that I am aware of what they are and when you might be able to provide them so that I could factor this into the process.

4. Review

Sometimes, I would ask for an initial review after the commencement of the project to make sure that things (such as design, palette, layout) are going in the right direction. Once I am finished, I will give you time to review the project and make sure that it meets your goals. This is also a time to review every aspect of the project from the images and graphics, proofread content, test contact forms, do some final tweaks and any changes you’d like to see before we launch.

5. Launch

Once you are satisfied with the review, tests are done, and any loose ends are tied up, we can launch the project (set the site live, post in social, send that email, etc). Depending on your needs, we can schedule a meeting to walk through your project and make sure you know how to use and update after ownership is transferred. I also provide optional maintenance packages or as needed support for my clients. I am just a chat away.
